DROK REES-1822 Buck Converter

This adjustable step-down module accepts a DC input from 5.3 V to 32 V and delivers a variable output from 1.2 V to 32 V. It is built for engineers, hobbyists and technicians who need a compact, protected power supply for bench testing, RV solar setups, golf-cart accessories or custom LED drivers. The acrylic case and heat sink keep the board clean and cool during extended use.

Continuous 120 W or 160 W with extra cooling

With natural convection the converter sustains 8 A and 120 W continuously. Improving heat dissipation raises the limit to 12 A and 160 W. The input voltage must remain at least 0.8 V above the desired output, so the module cannot regulate when the differential drops below that threshold. Over-current, short-circuit and reverse-polarity protections prevent damage during wiring errors.

LCD readout and manual controls

The onboard display shows input and output voltage, current and power with 0.05 V and 0.005 A precision. A push-button toggles output on or off and sets the default power-up state, while potentiometers adjust voltage and the over-current trip point. The included user manual explains wiring and calibration so the unit can be commissioned quickly without additional software.
