The Eaton 5S1000LCD is a line-interactive battery backup rated at 1000 VA and 600 W. It provides 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets for desktop PCs, networking gear and peripherals. A built-in LCD panel shows real-time power status and battery health. USB connectivity enables automated shutdown through included management software.

600 watt output capacity

The unit delivers a maximum of 600 watts to connected equipment. Loads exceeding this limit will overload the inverter and may cause immediate shutdown. Verify the combined power draw of every device you intend to protect before purchase. The 1000 VA rating reflects apparent power and does not increase the real-power ceiling.

Three minutes at full load

At 600 watts the sealed lead-acid battery sustains output for approximately 3 minutes. At half load the runtime extends to 14 minutes, allowing time for a controlled shutdown. The tower chassis operates between 0 and 35 °C with convection cooling and no rack-mount provision. Surge protection covers both AC line and network connections.
