Each port can reach 5 Gbps when used alone, but the total throughput is shared across all five ports and limited by the single PCIe 2.0 x1 uplink. The card provides up to 12 A of combined 5 V current for bus-powered devices such as drive enclosures, though it does not support Power Delivery fast charging, video output or Thunderbolt protocol.
