Full-tower ATX case for high-airflow builds

The Fractal Design Epoch XL is a steel ATX full-tower case that supports ATX, mATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, including reverse-connector layouts. A ventilated mesh front panel and perforated top panel create a direct airflow path for components. Three 140 mm Momentum fans with LCP blades come pre-installed at the front, and the chassis provides seven expansion slots for full-length graphics cards up to 425 mm.

Thermals and acoustics with included fans

The three front Momentum 14 fans move air through the mesh intake while the open top vents exhaust heat naturally. Radiator support extends to 360 mm at the front and top, and a 120 mm rear mount is available, allowing liquid-cooling loops without removing the stock fans. CPU coolers up to 176 mm tall clear the side panel, and the bottom-mounted ATX power-supply chamber isolates PSU heat from the main compartment.

Bundled fans and cable routing aids

The included Momentum 14 fans feature LCP blades and RGB lighting, delivering high static pressure straight from the box. Cable grommets and Velcro straps run along the motherboard tray to keep power and data leads tidy. Drive capacity covers two 3.5-inch bays and two 2.5-inch bays, while the front I/O panel supplies one USB Type-C 20 Gbps port, two USB Type-A 5 Gbps ports and a combined audio/mic jack.
