The Fractal Design Epoch XL White is an ATX mid-tower case built from steel with a tempered glass side panel. It ships with three pre-installed Momentum 14 RGB fans at the front and supports ATX, mATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, including reverse-connector layouts. The clean white finish and ARGB lighting suit showcase builds that prioritise airflow and cable management.

Front-panel USB-C runs at 20Gbps and USB-A at 5Gbps

The front I/O provides one USB Type-C port rated at 20Gbps and two USB Type-A ports rated at 5Gbps, plus combined audio and microphone jacks. These speeds are the practical ceiling for the case’s internal headers; actual throughput depends on the motherboard header and cable quality used during assembly.

Tool-free glass panel

The tempered glass side panel removes without tools, and the interior offers 425 mm of graphics-card length with the front fans in place. Cable grommets and straps help route wiring cleanly. The main installation pitfall is the power-supply length limit: 290 mm with one 3.5-inch drive tray fitted, dropping to 175 mm if both trays are used.
