Build target

The Fractal Design Meshify 3 XL Ambience Pro RGB is an ATX full-tower chassis built for high-airflow systems. A ventilated front mesh panel and three pre-installed Momentum 14 RGB PWM fans deliver strong intake performance. The steel frame supports E-ATX, ATX, mATX, Mini-ITX, EE-ATX, SSI-CEB and SSI-EEB motherboards.

Cooling focus

Builders planning custom loops or multi-radiator layouts will benefit from front, top, rear and side mounting points that accept up to 360 mm, 280 mm and 140 mm radiators respectively. The side panel allows three 140 mm fans but only 120 mm clearance when a radiator is fitted. Users needing external 5.25 inch or 3.5 inch bays should choose a different case.

Deciding spec

Seven expansion slots and a bottom-mounted power-supply position give room for full-length graphics cards and clean cable routing behind the motherboard tray. The front I/O provides one USB Type-C 20Gbps port, two USB 3.0 ports and an audio combo jack. ARGB lighting is controlled locally via the included Adjust Pro Hub without software.
