AM4 Platform Board

This GIGABYTE B450 AORUS PRO motherboard uses the AMD B450 chipset and fits Socket AM4 processors. It provides four DDR4 DIMM slots and a single PCI Express x16 slot that runs at x16 electrical when the installed CPU supports it. The ATX form factor measures 30.5 by 24.4 centimetres.

DDR4 Memory Limit

Maximum supported memory is 64GB across the four slots. The single x16 slot delivers full bandwidth only with CPUs that expose enough lanes; otherwise the slot operates at a reduced width. Rear I/O includes one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port and one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A port.

Storage and Audio Headroom

Six SATA III ports and two M.2 interfaces give plenty of room for SATA drives and M.2 modules. The Realtek ALC1220-VB codec drives up to 7.1 channel audio with S/PDIF output. Wired networking is handled by an Intel Gigabit Ethernet controller rated at 10/100/1000 Mbit.
