The GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ELITE WIFI uses the AMD X570 chipset on an ATX form factor. It supports Ryzen 5000 series, 3rd Gen and 2nd Gen processors on the AM4 socket. Four DDR4 slots accept up to 128GB of unbuffered memory in dual-channel mode. Integrated Intel Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Gigabit LAN provide network connectivity.
12+2 phase VRM with enlarged heatsink under load
A 12+2 phase digital VRM with DrMOS delivers power to the CPU socket. The advanced thermal design uses an enlarged heatsink to dissipate heat during sustained workloads. Dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots each have a single thermal guard to maintain drive temperatures. Smart Fan 5 uses multiple sensors and hybrid headers to adjust cooling based on system load.
Check AM4 cooler clearance and BIOS version
Verify that your CPU cooler fits the AM4 mounting pattern and does not obstruct the enlarged VRM heatsink. The board requires a BIOS update for Ryzen 5000 series support; Q-Flash Plus allows updating without a CPU installed. Ensure your power supply provides the 8-pin EPS connector for the digital VRM. The rear I/O shield is integrated for easier installation.
