16-Channel 4K DVR Kit with 12 Cameras

The GW Security GW9516XVR kit provides a 16-channel digital video recorder paired with twelve 5MP bullet cameras. It records at up to 4K 2160p resolution across all channels using H.265 HEVC compression. The system includes a pre-installed 1TB hard drive for local storage and supports motion, continuous, scheduled and alarm-based recording modes. AI-powered face, human and vehicle detection helps filter alerts.

BNC Wiring and 4K Output Limits

Video travels over sixteen BNC ports using the supplied pre-made cables, six at 60 feet and six at 100 feet. The DVR outputs 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution through a single HDMI port and also offers a VGA connection. Audio is captured via built-in camera microphones and fed through sixteen channel inputs, with one RCA output for playback. ONVIF compliance allows integration with compatible third-party software.

Verify that the 60-foot and 100-foot BNC cable lengths reach every mounting location from the recorder position. Confirm your display accepts 4K 2160p input over HDMI or 1080p over VGA to match the DVR output capabilities. Ensure you have a free router port for the included 10-foot Ethernet cable to enable remote viewing and push notifications. The kit includes twelve cameras; four additional channels remain open for future expansion.
