Fits workloads needing balanced compute

Suited for general-purpose tasks, virtualisation hosts or cloud nodes that rely on SATA drives and software RAID 0, 1 or 5. The B140i controller manages only SATA media, so environments requiring hardware RAID acceleration or SAS connectivity should consider a different platform.
