The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits a dual-processor platform into a single rack unit. Two Xeon E5-2620 v3 CPUs provide 12 physical cores at 2.4 GHz with hyperthreading for 24 threads. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 ECC memory populate the 24 DIMM slots across both processors. The Matrox G200 graphics core supplies basic console output.

Four large drive bays and a 12 Gb SAS controller

Four 3.5-inch LFF trays accept SAS or SATA drives behind the Smart HBA H240ar, which supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Two redundant 500 W hot-swap power supplies share the load and maintain uptime if one unit fails. The embedded 331i adapter delivers four 1 Gb Ethernet ports for network connectivity. No operating system is included.

Sustained throughput from redundant power

Redundant power supplies keep both processors and all drive bays fed during continuous operation. The C610 chipset and 24 DIMM slots allow memory to grow to 3 TB of DDR4 at 2400 MT/s when workloads demand more capacity. Twelve total cores maintain steady multi-threaded performance under prolonged load without relying on burst behaviour.
