The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 packs dual Intel Xeon E5-2620v3 processors and 64GB of DDR4 memory into a single rack unit. Eight small-form-factor drive bays and an H240ar controller support RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The system ships without drives or an operating system, ready for custom deployment.

Redundant 500W supplies and efficient airflow

Two hot-swap 500W power supplies provide full redundancy while the 1U chassis directs front-to-rear airflow across the CPUs and 24 DIMM slots. The Matrox G200 graphics controller with 16MB video memory handles basic console output without adding thermal load. Hyper-threading on the 2.4GHz six-core processors yields 24 virtual cores for parallel tasks.

Expandable memory and storage foundation

The Intel C610 chipset supports up to 3TB of DDR4 across 24 slots when larger modules are installed. Eight 2.5-inch bays accept SAS at 12Gb/s or SATA at 6Gb/s through the H240ar, while an optional universal media bay can add two more drives. Builders needing GPU compute or more than eight drives should plan a different chassis.
