B140i Software RAID Limited to SATA

The installed B140i software RAID controller handles SATA devices only. The chassis provides eight SFF drive bays, but the onboard controller cannot manage SAS or other interface types. A separate controller card is required to use the SAS capability mentioned in the platform specifications.
