Dense 1U Rack Server

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits a single Intel Xeon E5-2643v3 six-core processor at 3.4GHz into a 1U chassis. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory are installed across 24 DIMM slots. Two 146GB 15K SAS drives connect through a Smart HBA H240ar controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 500W redundant hot-swap power supplies are included.

Suits Space-Constrained Compute

This configuration serves workloads that need high core frequency and fast 15K SAS storage in a single rack unit. Buyers who require a second processor, more than 16GB of memory or additional drive bays should look elsewhere. The Matrox G200 graphics provide only basic console output and cannot accelerate compute or display tasks. No operating system is included.

Single Processor Installed

One E5-2643v3 CPU is fitted and the board accepts a second identical processor to double core count. Memory capacity scales to 3TB when both sockets are populated and all 24 slots are filled. The H240ar controller manages the two installed 2.5-inch SAS drives and can address further SFF devices in the remaining six bays.
