Buyers who require GPU compute, NVMe boot drives, or more than 16 GB of memory from day one should look elsewhere. The single-CPU configuration leaves one socket empty for future expansion, but the installed RAM ceiling is fixed at 16 GB unless additional DIMMs are purchased. The Matrox G200eH2 graphics provide only basic console output.

All memory bandwidth, PCIe lanes and controller throughput stem from this one processor.
