The HPE DL360 Gen10 packs two Xeon Silver 4114 processors and 768GB of DDR4 ECC memory into a 1U chassis. Ten cores per CPU at 2.2GHz give strong multi-threaded throughput for hypervisors or database clusters. Eight 2.5-inch drive bays and a Smart Array P408 controller let you choose the exact storage layout the workload demands.

Storage interface limits

The P408 controller connects to the backplane through SAS lanes while the installed drive bays accept SATA media. This combination caps individual drive throughput at the SATA link speed rather than the faster SAS rate. Network I/O relies on two 10GbE and two 1GbE ports from the Intel I350/X540 adapter, so east-west traffic above 10GbE requires an additional card.

Installation notes

The server ships with dual 500W Flex Slot power supplies and rails available on request. Firmware and BIOS arrive pre-updated to the latest stable release after full burn-in testing. Memory population across 24 DIMM slots must follow HPE rank-matching rules; incorrect placement will halt POST. Drive caddies are not included and must be sourced separately for the 8SFF cage.
