This HyperX FURY kit delivers 16GB of DDR3 desktop memory in a matched pair of 8GB modules rated at 1600MHz with CL10 timing. It targets system builders and upgraders who want a straightforward dual-channel configuration for older platforms that still rely on DDR3 technology.

Blue heat spreader and dual-channel layout

Each module carries an asymmetric blue aluminum heat spreader over a black PCB, designed to move heat away from the DRAM without blocking adjacent slots. The unbuffered DIMMs follow the standard 240-pin layout, so they drop into any desktop board wired for DDR3 and enable dual-channel bandwidth when both sticks are populated.

Low-voltage operation and automatic overclocking

Rated at 1.50V within the JEDEC 1.425V–1.575V range, the kit also supports a 1.35V low-voltage mode that reduces power draw and heat output during everyday workloads. An automatic overclocking function can raise the data rate to 1866MHz on compatible hardware, providing extra throughput without manual BIOS tuning.
