The Intel 660p Series SSDPEKNW512G8X1 is a 512GB M.2 2280 internal solid-state drive built for consumer notebooks and desktops. It uses PCIe 3.0 x4 with NVMe to skip SATA bottlenecks and bring faster everyday responsiveness. QLC 3D NAND allows higher capacity in the same slim footprint. This drive targets mainstream workloads such as boot, applications and media storage.
The single-sided M.2 2280 board fits slim laptops and small-form-factor desktops without blocking adjacent slots. PCIe 3.0 x4 connects directly to the CPU or chipset, so no extra cables or brackets are required. Idle power draws 40 mW and active power 100 mW, helping battery life in portable systems. Operating range is 0°C to 70°C and storage range -55°C to 95°C.
Terabytes Written is rated at 100 TBW with an MTBF of 1,600,000 hours. Sequential reads reach 1500 MBps and writes 1000 MBps, while 4KB random reads hit 90,000 IOPS and writes 220,000 IOPS.
