The Intel 760p Series SSDPEKKW512G8XT is an internal solid-state drive built for consumer systems. It uses a PCI-Express 3.0 x4 interface and 3D2 TLC NAND in an M.2 2280 form factor. The drive is designed for power users who want faster platform responsiveness and strong multitasking throughput.

Sustained load behaviour and endurance

Sequential reads reach up to 3230 MBps and sequential writes up to 1625 MBps. Random 4KB performance delivers up to 340,000 read IOPS and 275,000 write IOPS. The endurance rating is 288 TBW with an MTBF of 1,600,000 hours. Active power draw is 50 mW and idle power is 25 mW, while the operating temperature range spans 0°C to 70°C.

Upgrade path from the 600p series

This model replaces the Intel SSD 600p series, providing twice the PCIe performance and twice the capacity at the 512GB point. AES 256-bit full-disk encryption is included for data security. The jump is worth it when a system needs higher sequential and random throughput plus lower power consumption in the same M.2 2280 slot.
