Align the processor notches with the socket keys, lower it gently, then close the load plate and torque the retention screws in a cross pattern to the specified value; skipping the torque sequence can leave uneven contact and cause boot failures.
The processor itself has no user-serviceable parts; plan to replace thermal interface material whenever the cooler is reseated and monitor fan health to keep the 195 W TDP within safe temperatures.
The 195 W thermal design power becomes the limiting factor; if the cooling solution cannot dissipate that heat continuously, the CPU will throttle below its 3.9 GHz base frequency to stay within thermal limits.
