The Intel NUC 13 Pro RNUC13ANHi5000U is a tall-form-factor mini PC sold without memory, storage or an operating system. It targets system integrators and enthusiasts who want to choose their own DDR4 SODIMMs and NVMe drives. The onboard Core i5-1340P provides twelve cores with P-core speeds up to 4.60 GHz and E-core speeds up to 3.40 GHz.

Memory and storage limits

Two 260-pin SO-DIMM slots accept DDR4 3200 modules up to a combined 64 GB in dual-channel mode. Internal storage uses one M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe slot (key M), one M.2 2242 PCIe Gen3 NVMe slot (key B) and a single SATA 6.0 Gb/s connector for a 2.5-inch drive. No drives are included.

Connectivity and mounting implications

Front I/O offers two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. The rear provides two HDMI 2.1 TMDS outputs, two DisplayPort 1.4a signals via USB-C, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-A and a 2.5 GbE RJ45 jack. Wireless uses Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 with Bluetooth 5.3. Internal headers include one USB 3.2 on the M.2 2242 pins and two USB 2.0 headers. The chassis measures 4.61 by 4.41 by 2.13 inches.
