The Intel Xeon 6 6520P delivers 24 cores and 48 threads at a 2.4 GHz base frequency, reaching 4.0 GHz max turbo and 3.4 GHz all-core turbo. A 144 MB L3 cache and DDR5-6400 memory controller support up to 4 TB of memory. The FCLGA 4710 socket and 2S scalability target dense dual-socket platforms.

Upgrade from lower-core-count Xeons

Moving from processors with fewer than 24 cores or without AMX support gains parallel throughput for virtualisation, database and HPC workloads.
