The iStarUSA D-118V2-ITX is a 1U-high metal and aluminium chassis designed for mini-ITX motherboards. It fits standard 19-inch racks while keeping depth to 11 inches for tight spaces. Industrial environments and edge deployments benefit from its short form factor and included front cooling.

Mini-ITX motherboard compatibility

The chassis accepts boards measuring 6.7 by 6.7 inches and provides a single expansion slot. Storage options include one 3.5-inch drive or two 2.5-inch drives mounted internally. A 1U flex power supply is required but not included.

Straightforward assembly with one caution

Two 40mm intake fans at the front pull air through the chassis for component cooling. Front-panel USB 2.0 ports, power and reset switches, plus power and HDD LEDs are pre-wired. Builders must verify their flex power supply dimensions match the 1U bay before ordering.
