The iStarUSA D-414L-7 is a 4U rackmount server chassis built around a 14-slot passive backplane for full-size add-in cards. It targets telecommunication, industrial automation and data-acquisition systems that need dense card populations in a standard 19-inch rack.

Aluminium and steel frame with seven 5.25-inch bays

The chassis combines aluminium and steel construction in a black finish and provides seven external 5.25-inch drive bays plus one external and one internal 3.5-inch bay. A lockable front bezel secures access while two front USB 2.0 ports allow quick peripheral connection without reaching the rear panel.

Three hot-swappable 120 mm fans for directed airflow

Three 120 mm hot-swappable fans deliver front-to-rear cooling across the backplane and drive bays. Front-panel LEDs report power, drive activity, temperature and fan status when the optional sensor board is fitted, enabling operators to verify thermal performance at a glance.
