Operating at 1.20 V, the module draws minimal power and generates little heat under normal server workloads. Standard DDR4 cooling airflow in a rack chassis is sufficient; no additional heatsinks or active cooling are required. Silent operation is assured because the component has no moving parts. The low voltage also reduces strain on the memory controller during sustained loads.
The 288-pin DIMM uses a single-rank 1Rx8 organisation with CL19 19-19-19 timings for straightforward installation in standard DDR4 slots. Gold-edge contacts resist oxidation in long-term deployments. The unbuffered layout means the module plugs directly into consumer-style server boards without registered-buffer support. Systems requiring registered or load-reduced DIMMs cannot use this part.
