This 16 GB DDR5-5600 module uses a 288-pin RDIMM form factor with registered signal processing and on-die ECC. It is built for servers and workstations that require registered memory with error correction. The single-rank 1Rx8 organisation and CL46 timing suit platforms qualified for PC5-44800 speeds. Systems needing unbuffered UDIMMs or non-ECC memory cannot use this part.
The module runs at a typical VDD and VDDQ of 1.10 V with VPP at 1.8 V and VDDSPD between 1.8 V and 2.0 V. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the 31.25 mm PCB height handles cooling. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory bus, helping keep power draw steady under sustained server workloads.
The decisive specification is the combination of registered buffering and on-die ECC with x80 organisation across two independent I/O sub-channels. This provides error detection and correction inside the DRAM before data reaches the bus.
