Binocular Camera Base for CM4

The LORDWORLD base board accepts a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 Lite or eMMC variant through a standard CM4 socket. It adds Ethernet, HDMI, Micro SD and USB interfaces so developers can evaluate the module or embed it directly into a finished IoT device.

Dual 8MP cameras and dual 4K output

Two 8MP cameras each capture up to 3280 × 2464 resolution for stereo vision tasks such as depth mapping or object recognition. Dual HDMI ports drive two independent 4K displays at 30 frames per second, giving ample headroom for side-by-side video walls or simultaneous preview and recording. The board reaches its limit when an application demands higher frame rates or resolutions beyond 4K 30fps per channel.

Upgrade from single-camera carrier boards

Engineers moving from a single-camera CM4 carrier gain hardware-synchronised stereo imaging without designing a custom PCB. The board uses a standard CM4 socket and is compatible with both Compute Module 4 Lite and eMMC variants, so your existing CM4 Lite will connect directly.

How can I verify the dual 4K 30fps HDMI outputs are functioning correctly after I install the Compute Module 4?

Connect each HDMI port to a 4K display; both should show a 30fps signal at up to 3280 × 2464 resolution per camera when the CM4 is running compatible software.
