The LORDWORLD adapter board sits between a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 or 5 and a baseboard, absorbing the mechanical stress of repeated insertion cycles. It accepts both CM4 and CM5 modules, including Lite and eMMC variants, so developers can swap modules without wearing the carrier board socket.
Passive Thermal Behaviour
The board carries no active components, so it adds no heat, noise or measurable power draw during normal operation. Its only role is to pass signals through standard CM4/CM5 connectors while shielding the baseboard socket from physical wear.
Sustained Load Durability
Under continuous development use the adapter maintains a stable electrical path because it contains no regulators or logic that could throttle or fail. The limiting factor remains the rated mating cycles of the compute module connectors themselves, not the adapter board.
