A Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) port carries the PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 link to an NVMe host, delivering the full 64 Gbps bandwidth. A two-segment key lock secures the drive against unauthorised removal.

This enclosure is designed for systems that provide an NVMe-capable host connection through a Mini-SAS HD cable. It will not work for platforms that lack an NVMe host link or that cannot route PCIe signals to the bay. The key lock adds physical security for shared or public workstations.
