This LUOM L06B2IN1 cable connects a standard 2.5" SATA SSD or HDD to a host device through either a USB-C or USB 3.0 Type-A plug. It supports SATA I, II and III drives and is powered entirely from the USB port. The adapter is intended for quick data access, backup, system upgrades or file recovery from a bare drive.

Suits drive-recovery and portable-storage tasks

It works with Windows 11 down to XP, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS and Android on laptops, tablets, desktops, routers or smart TVs that have a USB-A or USB-C port. Hot-swap and plug-and-play operation means no driver installation is required. Builders who need 3.5" drive support or an external power supply for larger disks should look at a different solution because this cable only fits standard 2.5" drives and draws power from the host port.

UASP-accelerated USB 3.0 speeds

When the host controller supports UASP, the adapter can reach 6 Gbps, delivering 70% faster reads and 40% faster writes than conventional USB 3.0. Without UASP it runs at the standard 5 Gbps USB 3.0 rate and falls back to 480 Mbps on USB 2.0 or 1.1 ports.
