Classroom 3D printer

The MakerBot Sketch Sprint is a new FDM 3D printer built for classroom use. It offers a 220mm x 220mm x 220mm build volume and prints at a 200 micron layer resolution. The machine arrives fully assembled and includes two 0.25kg spools of PLA filament in blue and orange.

Enclosed build with filtration

The fully enclosed chassis measures 452mm wide, 400mm deep and 466mm high, weighing 16kg. It operates on 100-240V power at 50-60Hz drawing 2.7-1.3A. Integrated HEPA and carbon filters manage emissions while the heated removable flexible build plate aids part adhesion and removal. Connectivity is provided via USB and Wifi for Windows, Mac OS X 10.12+ and Chromebooks.
