Classroom FDM Printer

The MakerBot Sketch Standard is a fused deposition modelling printer built for education environments. It offers a 150mm cubed build volume and accepts 1.75mm PLA filament. The system runs on Windows 7 or 10 and Mac OS X 10.12, though Catalina is not supported. CloudPrint software manages print jobs across a network.

Enclosed Frame With Flexible Plate

A fully enclosed chassis houses a particulate filter for cleaner air during operation. The heated build plate is flexible to ease part removal and two plates are included in the box. A replaceable extruder module simplifies maintenance when a nozzle wears out. Connectivity covers USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi for wired or wireless job submission.

Touchscreen Control And Onboard Camera

A full colour touchscreen provides direct access to printer functions without a host computer. An integrated camera lets teachers monitor progress remotely through the CloudPrint portal.
