The MSI MAG B560 TORPEDO is an Intel B560 motherboard built for LGA 1200 processors. It supports 10th and 11th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron CPUs. The board uses a Micro ATX form factor and carries the MAG TORPEDO branding. It targets builders who need a mainstream platform for current-generation Intel desktop chips.

Dual-channel DDR4 up to 128 GB

Four memory slots accept dual-channel DDR4 with a rated overclock ceiling of 5066 MHz. The maximum supported capacity is 128 GB, giving ample headroom for heavy multitasking and content workloads. Memory speed scales with the installed processor generation and module quality. Beyond 128 GB the chipset cannot address additional DRAM.

PCIe 4.0 from CPU and 2.5 Gbps LAN

With an 11th Gen CPU the primary PCIe x16 slot runs at PCIe 4.0; with a 10th Gen CPU it falls back to PCIe 3.0. The second x16 slot and the x1 slot are wired to the B560 chipset at PCIe 3.0 x4 and x1 respectively. Networking combines a Realtek 2.5 Gbps controller and an Intel 1 Gbps controller. USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 reaches 20 Gbps on the rear Type-C port.
