The MSI MAG B660M BAZOOKA DDR4 uses the Intel B660 chipset to support 12th and 13th Gen Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors in a Micro ATX form factor. Four 288‑pin slots accept up to 128 GB of DDR4 4800 memory in dual‑channel mode. One PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot handle graphics and add‑in cards.
Extended heatsink and M.2 thermal solution
An extended PWM heatsink covers the power delivery area to keep high‑end CPUs running at full speed without active cooling on the VRM. The M.2 Shield Frozr sits over both Gen4 x4 slots to draw heat away from installed SSDs and prevent throttling. A pre‑installed I/O shield adds EMI protection and simplifies the build process.
2.5 Gbps LAN and four SATA ports
The Realtek 8125BG controller provides a single 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port with LAN Manager software for traffic prioritisation. Four SATA 6 Gb/s connectors support traditional hard drives and SATA SSDs. Realtek ALC897 audio delivers 7.1‑channel output for speakers or headsets. A dedicated LGA 1700 mounting bracket is required for cooler installation.
