Vortex-LX 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe Drive

The Mushkin Enhanced Vortex-LX is a 1TB internal solid-state drive built for consumer PCs and laptops. It uses the M.2 2280 form factor with a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface and NVMe 1.4 protocol. The InnoGrit IG5220 controller manages 3D NAND flash to deliver sequential reads up to 5200 MB/s and writes up to 4370 MB/s.

Built-in ECC and SLC Caching

Fourth-generation LDPC error correction provides the strongest data correction level currently in use. End-to-end data path protection guards information from the host to the NAND. SLC caching accelerates burst workloads, while Host Memory Buffer technology borrows system DRAM to sustain performance without a dedicated DRAM cache.

Straightforward M.2 Installation

The single-sided M.2 2280 module fits into any compatible slot on a desktop motherboard or laptop. No cables or brackets are required; secure it with the motherboard screw. The most common issue is the system not detecting the drive until the BIOS is set to NVMe mode or the latest storage driver is loaded.
