The modules match the precise rank, voltage and timing the H14SHM memory controller expects so the server recognises the full capacity at rated speed. It is built for administrators who need maximum registered memory in a single validated package.
Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing all slots to run fully populated at the standard 1.10 V without extra voltage. The modules ship without heat spreaders, relying on the server’s directed airflow for cooling. Power draw scales with the eight-module population; acoustic profile is dictated by the chassis fans, not the memory itself.
The 288-pin RDIMM form factor fits only boards that require registered DDR5; it will not work in UDIMM or SODIMM slots.
