Suited for registered ECC platforms only

The modules require a motherboard that supports DDR4 288-pin registered ECC memory; they will not work in consumer desktop boards, laptops or systems that accept only unbuffered non-ECC DIMMs. Buyers needing unregistered memory or a different form factor should look elsewhere.
