This 64GB kit contains four 16GB DDR5 registered DIMMs rated at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency. It is built for the Dell Precision 5860 tower workstation and other DDR5 ECC registered platforms that require 1Rx8 organisation. The modules operate at 1.1V and use 288-pin connectors.

Registered design with major OEM chips

Each module is registered to reduce electrical load on the memory controller and uses Samsung, Micron or Hynix components selected by the manufacturer. The absence of a heat spreader keeps the profile low for dense server or workstation chassis. ECC circuitry corrects single-bit errors to protect data integrity in critical workloads.

DDR5 4800 speed and platform limits

The kit runs at the standard DDR5 4800 (PC5-38400) data rate; higher speeds are not supported by this module specification. Registered DIMMs cannot be used in consumer boards that accept only unbuffered memory. Capacity is fixed at 64GB across the four slots provided by the kit.
