This 768GB kit contains twelve 64GB DDR5 5600 registered DIMMs with ECC and a CL46 latency. It is built for the Dell PowerEdge XE9685L rack server and similar platforms that require registered error-correcting memory. The modules operate at 1.1V using 4Rx4 organisation.

Registered ECC and 4Rx4 Organisation

Registered buffering and on-die ECC protect data integrity in multi-socket server workloads. The 4Rx4 rank structure lets each 64GB module present four logical ranks to the memory controller, increasing density per slot without changing the 288-pin form factor. No heat spreaders are included, so airflow in the chassis must handle thermal management.

DDR5 5600 Speed and Platform Limits

The PC5-44800 rating sets a 5600 MT/s data rate that the memory controller and BIOS must support. Registered DIMMs cannot be used in desktop or consumer boards that expect unbuffered modules. Mixed-rank or mixed-speed populations may reduce the effective speed below 5600 MT/s depending on the server firmware configuration.
