This OWC kit supplies 256 GB of DDR4 memory in two 128 GB load-reduced DIMMs. Each module runs at 2933 MT/s with CL21 latency at 1.2 V and carries ECC protection. The 288-pin form factor and 8Rx4 organisation are built for registered server platforms only.

Suits Dell PowerEdge R740, R740XD, R940 and T640

These modules are validated for the listed Dell PowerEdge servers and will not work in standard desktop boards. They cannot be mixed with unbuffered or registered ECC DIMMs, so builders upgrading other platforms or mixing memory types should look elsewhere.
