Thermals and power

Each module operates at the standard 1.2V DDR4 voltage without a heat spreader, relying on server chassis airflow for cooling. Load-reduced buffering reduces electrical load on the memory bus, helping keep power draw predictable in fully populated configurations. The JEDEC-compliant design ensures stable operation within the thermal envelope of the supported PowerEdge platforms.

Build integration

The 288-pin LRDIMMs install directly into the DDR4 slots of the listed Dell servers and cannot be mixed with unbuffered or standard registered DIMMs. Backward compatibility with 2133MHz, 2400MHz and 2666MHz bus speeds allows deployment in systems that have not yet been updated to the highest supported frequency. The four-module kit fills four DIMM slots, leaving remaining slots available for further expansion within the platform limits.
