This OWC kit provides 256GB of DDR4 ECC LRDIMM memory across four 64GB modules. It is built for servers, workstations and NAS systems that require registered load-reduced modules. The memory operates at 2666MHz with a CL19 latency and 1.2V voltage. Standard desktop computers cannot use this memory type.

288-Pin Load-Reduced Design

Each module uses a 288-pin LRDIMM form factor with 4Rx4 organisation and ECC error correction. The load-reduced buffer reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing higher density per channel. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow in the chassis must handle cooling. The kit is a dual-channel set and cannot be mixed with unbuffered DIMMs.

Capacity Upgrade Path

The kit replaces lower-density DDR4 LRDIMM sets or fills empty slots to reach 256GB total capacity.
