Target system

This 32GB kit provides four 8GB DDR4 2666 ECC registered RDIMMs built for Synology FS6400 and HD6500 NAS units. It replaces the D4RD-2666-8G and D4ER01-8G modules in servers and workstations that require registered memory. It will not work in standard desktop PCs or with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs.

Thermals and power

Each module runs at 1.2V with CL19 latency and has no heat spreader. The registered buffer adds a clock cycle for signal integrity in multi-DIMM configurations. Power draw scales with the four-module population and the 2666 MT/s data rate.

Compatibility and standards

The kit is JEDEC and RoHS compliant and backward compatible with 2133 and 2400 MT/s operation. It is validated for the FlashStation FS6400 and HIGH Density HD6500 platforms. Buyers needing unbuffered ECC or consumer SO-DIMM form factors cannot use this product.
