This OWC kit supplies 32GB of DDR3 ECC Registered RDIMM memory across four 8GB modules. It is built for HP ProLiant SL165s G7, SL170s G6, SL335s G7, SL390s G7 and WS460c G6 servers. The modules run at 1333MHz with CL9 latency and 1.5V voltage. This memory will not work in standard desktop computers and cannot be mixed with unbuffered DIMMs.

Thermals and Power at 1.5V

Each module operates at the standard DDR3 1.5V level without a heat spreader. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the server memory controller during sustained workloads. The 2Rx4 organisation helps maintain signal integrity across all four populated slots. No active cooling is required beyond normal server airflow.
