Installation is a tool-free DIY task on the supported EliteDesk Mini and Ultra-Slim chassis: open the case, align the notch on the 204-pin edge connector, press firmly until the retention clips click, then close the cover. The most common issue is inserting the module at an angle so the clips do not engage fully, which leaves the system unbootable until reseated. Mixing this stick with existing modules of a different speed or rank can also cause instability.
