What is included in the box and what must I buy separately?

The unit ships with the 15-inch IP65 front-panel PC, 16 GB DDR3 memory, 512 GB mSATA SSD, Windows 10 Pro, resistive touchscreen, dual Gigabit LAN, HDMI, 2 COM ports, 4 USB ports, audio jack and 12 V DC input. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G/4G modules, GPIO, extra COM or USB ports and wide-range 9–36 V power are optional and not included.

Which processor variant and memory configuration should I choose?

The system uses an Intel Core i3-5005U or i3-5010U dual-core processor at 2.00 GHz with 3 MB cache. Memory is supplied as 16 GB DDR3 (2 slots, 16 GB maximum). Choose the i3-5010U if available for a slight clock advantage; memory cannot be expanded beyond 16 GB.

What does the IP65 rating mean once the panel is mounted in my machine?

The front panel meets IP65 dust-tight and water-jet protection when installed in the 355 × 279 mm cut-out. The aluminum chassis is fanless and rated for -20 to +60 °C operation. Only the front face is sealed; rear I/O and power connections need separate protection.
