16-channel PoE NVR with 4 TB storage

The Reolink RLN16-410 is a 16-channel network video recorder designed for home or small-business surveillance. It arrives with a pre-installed 4 TB hard drive and supports only Reolink PoE and DC-powered Wi-Fi cameras. The unit provides 16 dedicated PoE ports plus one gigabit uplink for LAN or WAN connectivity.

Capacity and recording headroom

The built-in 4 TB drive stores continuous 24/7 footage from up to 16 cameras. Total internal capacity can reach 12 TB using the two SATA bays, each accepting a maximum 6 TB drive. When all channels record at high bit-rates the 4 TB baseline fills quickly, so additional drives are needed for longer retention.

Reolink-only camera compatibility

This recorder works exclusively with Reolink IP cameras; third-party models are not supported. Buyers who already own other-brand cameras or who need ONVIF flexibility cannot use this NVR.

The RLN16-410 supports all Reolink PoE cameras at 16MP, 12MP, 4K, 5MP and 4MP resolutions across its 16 PoE ports.

How can I confirm the NVR is recording continuously after I connect the cameras?

The front panel shows HDD status and recording indicators; the Reolink App or Client displays live playback and 24/7 timeline bars for each of the 16 channels.

Does the box include the hard drive and cables, or must I buy them separately?

A 4TB drive is pre-installed; the package also contains the 48V 2.5A power supply, a mouse and a quick-start guide. Extra SATA drives up to 6TB each are optional.
