RIMLANCE
A 16 GB dual-channel DDR3 kit running at 1866 MHz with CL13 latency and low 1.35 V operation
This kit provides two eight-gigabyte DDR3 modules for a total of 16GB capacity. It targets desktop owners who want more memory headroom for multitasking and heavier workloads without moving to a newer platform. The 1.35V operating voltage helps reduce power draw compared with standard 1.5V DDR3.
Unbuffered DDR3 modules at 1866MHz and 1.35V generate modest heat and run silently with no moving parts. The low voltage keeps system power draw lower than equivalent 1.5V kits while maintaining the rated CL13 timing. No active cooling is required beyond normal case airflow.
The UDIMM form factor fits standard desktop DIMM slots and the dual-rank 2RX8 organisation works with typical consumer chipsets. Two modules leave remaining slots free for future expansion up to the motherboard limit. Installation requires no special tools or configuration beyond seating the sticks firmly.

Align the notch on each 1866MHz module with the slot key, press down firmly until both side clips click, then verify in BIOS that the kit runs at 1.35V instead of the default 1.5V.
No routine maintenance is required; if a module fails, replace the faulty 8GB stick with another DDR3 1866 CL13 1.35V UDIMM to keep dual-channel performance.
The CL13 latency at 1.35V is the primary constraint; bandwidth and voltage are fixed, so timing ceiling limits throughput before thermal throttling occurs.
