It fits ATX, E-ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards and provides fifteen internal drive bays. System builders configuring a home server, a backup target or a small business file host will find the bay count and rack footprint a direct match.

Upgrade Path

The chassis replaces smaller 2U or tower cases that limit drive counts to eight or fewer bays and restrict airflow across stacked drives. The jump is worth it when your storage array has outgrown the current enclosure and you need room for fifteen drives plus seven full-height expansion cards. Builders staying with fewer than ten drives or without rack infrastructure will not use the extra capacity.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your rack depth can accommodate 635 millimetres and that the 178 millimetre height fits the allocated 4U space. Confirm the power supply length does not exceed 220 millimetres and that the chosen CPU cooler stays within 117 millimetres with the GPU holder installed or 152 millimetres without it. Graphics card length must remain under 320 millimetres with the middle fan tray in place or 400 millimetres if that tray is removed.
