The Samsung 850 PRO MZ-7KE1T0BW is a 2.5 inch internal solid-state drive with 1TB capacity. It uses 32 layer 3D V-NAND technology and a Samsung MEX controller with 64MB DRAM cache. The drive targets users upgrading laptops or desktops that rely on the SATA interface.

Samsung Data Migration software included

The bundled Samsung Data Migration utility simplifies cloning an existing drive onto the new SSD. It transfers the operating system, applications and user data without manual reinstallation. This software addition reduces downtime during the upgrade process for both Windows and Mac systems.
